ABC news says Bush should be concerned about appearing angry.
On an early morning radio newscast, ABC said one of Bush's objectives in tonight's debate will be to remain calm and not appear tense or angry.

With that in mind, may I suggest something Kerry can say that may trip the chimp's trigger?

Perhaps Kerry can say something along this line: "I have tried to run a positive campaign, but I have been constantly slammed by Mr. Bush and parties affiliated with his campaign with lies, gross distortions and misrepresentations about me, my family and my positions on the issues."

"In spite of this, I have refrained from campaigning on Mr. Bush's problems with alcohol abuse, his alleged use of cocaine and other illegal substances, his affairs and alleged abortion to end a pregnancy in one of those affairs."

Unless Bush is massively doped out from sedatives given to him by Karl Rove before he went on the air, you should be able to see Bush's head ready to explode after lobbing those lines.

1. On the contrary. If he's too calm, he's going to come across
cocky & arrogant.

8. In the clips of the O'Really interview
on the Daily Show last night, I thought Bush was cockier and more arrogant than ever. He looked like he was barely suppressing maniacal laughter.

3. make a comment about how both of them are "elitists"
not the exact word elitist. but elitist in the sense they had more priveledges than most people.

make a comment about how both of them were lucky to be able to go to yale. and bush to harvard later on while kerry went to boston college law school and people like that should give back to the country in ways such as paying more taxes. kerry is open about his background so it wont be news. but it will help show the falseness of bush as a regular guy crap.

4. Pick on Junior AND his dad. That will piss off the little man.
Junior is all about beating his dad at something. The lesser (George W.) has no clue about the fact that he would be nothing without his father's name. Make him think about that.

5. Praise Bush's father for working with allies and chide W as "diminished"
Edited on Thu Sep-30-04 06:50 AM by emulatorloo
Seems to me that W hates his father and is all about one-upping him. Bush 1 did understand about diplomacy and the value of our European allies.

So I vote for praising his dad's statemanship and playing up how WEAK BUSH IS COMPARED TO HIS FATHER. That I think would anger the little smug spiteful frat boy.

9. another thread: "I know George Herbert Walker Bush... and you sir,
are no George Herbert Walker Bush!"

An unfavorable comparison between junior and Daddy's execution of Iraq wars I and II will make him NUTS... that will really press his W-stop and have him frothing at the mouth. How CAN he respond to that, other than stammer, stutter and stumble? I doubt he has prepared a response for that. There's nothing like a good dose of national humiliation to take him down a few pegs.

10. i think all kerry has to do
is a brief rundown on how shrub has fucked up the country:
a war for no good reason, tax cuts that have taken us from a surplus to the largest deficit in history, the sourcing out of jobs to india, his corporate buddies moving their businesses off shore to avoid taxes, ect. that will make kerry ook presidental and just piss off bush.
