Think Kerry will talk about who he'll put in charge of terror?
Bush has a lot of incompetent people: Ashcroft, Rumsfeld, and Goss, to name a few. It would be easy to point out how anti-American these people are. I hope Kerry does that, but I wonder if he'll actually name some of the people who will be in his government?

1. If we would work to abolish terror
We would not need anyone to be in charge of terror. The bu$h has several people in charge of terror and look at how unsafe that has made the world.

2. I don't know, it seems like it could be premature.
However, Kerry should mention that "consistency" in pursuit of the wrong plan is not strength. It actually is a far better indicator of a lack of good ideas.

Perhaps he could mention that the Israeli's have pursued an aggressive "war on terror" for the last 50 years during which time terrorism has only become more common. Then a "While I do not question the right of Israeli's to defend themselves, I would choose a different approach for this country."

What is needed is a multilateral approach that through diplomatic means ends financial and logistical support of terrorist groups by other nations followed with a concerted diplomatic effort to create the conditions of social and economic justice in the middle east which will dry up their base of popular support in these countries...

While our military will fight bravely to accomplish the mission, history and the experience in Iraq has shown us that these problems cannot be solved through military action alone. A more intelligent approach is needed.

3. Why did most Dems vote for Goss?
Was there a stated reason?

4. He was nominated as a Rovian ploy
Can't remember where I read it, but supposedly Bush chose Goss because Goss had criticized Kerry on the House floor and was generally very unpopular with the Democrats. The theory behind his nomination was the Bush was trying to provoke a fight with Dems where he could call the Dems obstructionist and more interested in political gain than the defence of our country. It was all politics on his part, and the end result is the country is stuck with yet another incompetent in a leadership position.
