ALL John Kerry has to do is look & sound Presidential tonight.
People are looking for ANY reasonable alternative to the Smirking Chimp.

I recently saw a poll that said that only 9% of Americans think Bush's first term should be anything like his second term, if he should be elected.

That means the electorate is, in fact, looking for an alternative.

Kerry shows up tonight looking & sounding Presidential (and he will I think), then he wins this debate.

1. John Kerry just getting out of bed in the morning with his hair sticking
straight up, in his underwear, scratching his armpits looks more presidential than when they wash up the pig, put a tie on him, slap on some lipstick and try to sell him to the people.

2. I wish
Kerry has to do a whole lot more than that at this point. He needs to crush Bush into the ground or he's toast.

4. Really? I think that's mostly the media spin.

.
The media would like us to think that Kerry has a Herculean task ahead of him tonight--that it is an insurmountable task somehow.

I'm not so sure that's true, but that's what all the talking heads will say.

The average voting citizen just wants to get a competent person in the White House.

7. Do you remember the run up to Kerry's speech at the DNC??
They were all doing their moaning about what he "had to do" blah, blah and then I remember people like Fineman sitting their stunned when it was over and saying how tremendous he was. Let us hope history repeats itself with these talking whores tonight---only this time they know it is their mission to sink Kerry, unfortunately.

6. According to the Independent Moderates.....
"The Bush camp has made a huge mistake in painting Kerry to be a weak flip-flopper. It is the equivalent of the other side painting Bush to be an idiot. If all Bush had to do was pass the "drool test," all Kerry has to do is pass the, "I'm not a pushover," test. America is expecting a lot of George Bush and very little of Kerry.

Ladies and Gentlemen, welcome to the beginning of the reclaiming of your nation."

9. I saw on TV last night some old clips of Kerry's prior debates.
He was taking it to his opponents. Looked good, sounded good, was really impressive.

I'm thinking that's the guy who will show up tonight. If so, Fineman & Matthews & others will again be sitting with their mouths agape, just like after Kerry gave his speech at the Dem. Nat'l Convention.

That would be a nice change.

15. As you know, Dean put it well last
night on Tavis Smiley. Dean said .."Kerry will do just fine".

He went on to say that Kerry just needs to connect with the American People. The polls already say that they don't want bush elected..they want to give bush the pink slip..

I like the way put in "pink slip" connected with bush! Dean had good talking points that he got out excellently about Kerry and his book, "You Have The Power".

Dean also brought in some points about bob dole running against Clinton and the People didn't want to get rid of Clinton..but they want to fire bush.:)

He said bush can be charming(or something like that)but that doesn't qualify him to be president(sic).

When Dean was ahead in the primaries..Dean said he knew Kerry had been in Nam and he wondered when Kerry would "touch his core"..well he found out and Kerry's Core is Steel!

I was so proud of Dean last night talking about Kerry like that! I just love both of them :loveya:

17. Yes, Dean does have a way of putting things just right.
And Dean's correct about Kerry and also that people want to give Bush the pink-slip!

18. Guy from the W. Post was on MSNBC a few minutes ago
He was saying that it isn't all about what Kerry has to do, but that Bush is on the hot seat tonight, too. He's got to defend himself, etc. We'll watch him whine and giggle his way through it in his most presidential whine and giggle. Freak.
