Perfect Campaign Song

I actually thought of this a number of weeks ago...

Remember how Clinton used "Don't Stop...." by Fleetwood Mac...I thought that it was a great addition to the campaign...A theme song, as it were.

This time around I haven't heard any "theme" tune that either candidate is using...at least consistently.

The perfect theme song for the Kerry campaign should be "Right Now" by Van Halen. This song has the energy and the words (most of them) that I think would have the same impact that the Fleetwood Mac song did. Anyway...just glad that Sammy is back with the band...he was always a perfect fit.

Oh Yes..."Yummy, Yummy, Yummy, I Have Love In My Tummy" should be Bush's campaign song...that or the theme to the Brady Bunch.

3. For years, I have been trying to think of a song better than "Don't Stop."

I've yet to come up with one. Whose idea was it to use Fleetwood Mac in '92? It was a stroke of brilliance.

4. Kerry DOES use VH's "Right Now" at a lot of his campaign stops.

He also uses "Beautiful Day" by U2, and "No Surrender" by Bruce Springsteen:
