Kerry should walk out infront of the podium
Edited on Thu Sep-30-04 11:20 AM by demdem
I know this is against the rules but he should do it all night. If he walks infront of his podium to the middle of the floor the cameras will be forced to show Kerry and Bush in the same camera shot, so the audience can see the height difference. Also it allows Bush to cry foul and threaten to cancel the rest of the debates.

1. two handshakes
Graciously extended by Kerry, one at the beginning, one at the end, both lingering long enough for a few photographs.

2. Kerry Should Do it in the Third Debate
because I think he's helped by a greater number of debates. But I agree with the general strategy.

8. Bush cannot skip the debates
He'll be made to look like a wimp... and risks media attention to the ridiculous rules that his campaign required.

5. I've wondered if Kerry will observe all of the coWard's wimpy rules.

6. For the first two debates I hope Kerry follows all the stupid rules
We know that the Rove machine is setting this up to show that Kerry can't be trusted, or something more sinister. Follow the rules and be judged on your performance, not the petty standards of Rove and Co.

In the last debate do the hell what you want.

7. Plus it shows he can speak without written notes in front of him
And if Bush cancels a debate over a technical rule that did nothing to hurt him, they should call him a wimp who is afriad of talking to the American people.
