Son of a bitch...they are doing a 'brigade sized' invasion in Sumara, just north of Bahgdad, that is a stronghold of insurgents...so I see it now, headlines of the debates, if Bush does badly, is shared with this major offensive, and possibly overshadowed by the capture of Zarqawi. Not that Zarqawi doesn't need captured, but I think they put this off until now for a reason. Rat bastards!

A good friend of mine said he spoke to his brother who is in I believe Spec Forces at Fort Bragg. I didn't catch all the details of his bro's branch and rank. Anyway this friend of mine is an honest dude and not making up what his bro said to him - whether it turns out to be true or not. He said that his bro is getting ready to deploy - to Iran. That's right Iran. No further details but I found it to be pretty amazing.

we don't have enuf for iraq. there's really no telling what awol would do in a second term but the man is a religious zealot and if he felt it was god's work to go to iran - he'd do it. i don't think there's any doubt that a major military offensive will take place in iraq post nov 2nd.
