"Vote Democratic. Or you may never get to vote again."
This is a theme the DNC should be running nationwide. Not vote for Kerry, but VOTE DEMOCRATIC. Given what Republican governors, secretaries of state, etc., have been doing in Florida, Ohio, Colorado (and probably other states, too), the theme should be, VOTE DEMOCRATIC. Vote to keep the right to vote. If the Republicans keep getting away with suppressing registration, turnout, even vote-counting this year, they'll just keep doing it year after year, making our democracy more and more hollow each go-around. Eventually, we'll be a DINO (democracy in name only). Or maybe not even that. Bush II followed by Bush III followed by...they'll find someone. Maybe Ahnuld until Jenna or Not-Jenna is ready.

I'm serious - the DNC should start highlighting how the Republicans have been working to keep Americans from voting. "Vote Democratic. The democracy you save may be your own."

2. If anyone here talks to the DNC, push this, please
The more I read about those villains in Ohio and Colorado doing anything they can to rig the election, the angrier I get. The mainstream press is not making enough of this - tying it together, connecting the dots, seeing the pattern and its implications ("if this goes on..."). This kind of skullduggery can only happen in the dark; when it gets light shined on it, as we've seen by the attention making Blackwell back down. But it's not just Ohio, and it's not just this year. It's prime Republican strategy - they can't win if most Americans vote.

This could be a winning advertisement for the DNC.
