1. Passion of the Bush
Bill Moyers estimates that 15% are waiting for the "Rapture." I sometimes wonder if Bush believes in that stuff. It would explain a lot.

3. excuse me but,
:puke: Sorry.

Seriously though, I work with some religious fanatics and recently one said he wasn't going to vote because why bother, the end is near, all signs in Revelations are coming true.

He is a repub so I'm glad he isn't voting but geez, what a kook!

4. The KoolAid crowd laps that stuff up.
And I hope the coWard gets what's coming to him on Judgement Day.

My born-again cousin who never watches the news is caught up in the notion that all the recent hurricanes, Mt. St. Helens, the earthquake in California, etc., are signs that the "Rapture" is coming. I listened to her, knowing what she was leading up to (coWard vs. Kerry), then I told her, "If you put everything in a Biblical perspective, then the Anti-Christ must be running this country & God is very angry with the direction Bush has taken this country. We're supposed to be a moral, righteous example."

Didn't help -- she changed the subject. It's a we-agree-to-disagree type issue between us. I can't help secretly resenting her for being so blinded, though.

8. Hurricanes
No doubt many of you saw the map that showed that the first three hurricanes went through counties that had voted for Bush, and avoided those that voted for Gore. The fourth hurricane did the same. Were I religious, it would make me pause before voting for a Bush--W or Jeb. We here in FL not only have to suffer a Congress in control of the Right, but a state legislature as well. Those who believe, pray for the right result.

13. Right on Bush...
I saw a website not long ago (just do a google search for anti-George W. Bush and look for a site that talks about him being the anti-Christ). If this is the "end of the world" then Bush would be the leader of it and according to the Bible: the anti-Christ. The website had Biblical references too for people who like to have that shown to them and other stuff on there. It was interesting stuff though. It'd be good to show all your Christian Republican friends on why Kerry would be the better man along with other things of course (but that'd be a good thing to show to get them to turn on Bush). Unless you know the person is head-strong on being for Bush of course you'd be lucky to change their minds. XOXO.

6. "Vote-for-me-or-face-Armageddon?" More like "AND face Armageddon!"
This bilge would be a laugh-riot if it didn't actually threaten the existence of the U.S. and the world, for that matter.

Faith and religion have their place, but NOT in government, and CERTAINLY NOT in *.

If Jesus walked the Earth today, He'd weep. Then He'd kick *'s ass, HARD, for once and for all time.

14. If Jesus was here...
He would probably be upset. There's a story in the new testament when Jesus went to a church and saw people doing business there. It was supposed to be a place of worship but they were taking advantage of the place to get business done (sounds familiar?) and when he went there he was pissed. He threw table's over and kicking people out saying how they shouldn't be there doing business in his Father's house. I don't know the exact place in the Bible in memory, but I can try to find it if anybody is interested. Or just read through the subtitles and I'm sure ya'd find it if interested. XOXO.

7. I still say let's split without blood....give these people there own land.

Let them have their own church-state commandments in place of rights. And if they don't have enough soldiers to fight their wars, they can accept a loan from Gibson to buy soldiers.

They are the key supporters for killing. Hands down.

And as I always say their Christmas cards say or imply PEACE and the signs at their churches or church halls have a banner over the entrance that says PEACE ON EARTH and welcome signs outside their church with the word PEACEor the cross (which I thought meant that since Christ died for our sins, then it must mean it's time to serve PEACE).

Good Lord, we have so much to do - conduct our country so that peace negotiations with radical moslems can get off the ground...and then we either have to divorce these burning up christians or make peace. I don't want to be at war for 100 years.

We were put here to figure out PEACE.

11. I asked a very good Republican friend of mine why she is voting for
Bush and she said "because he prays" My friend does not know his views on any issues, only that he prays (and I quess because he says he prays that she feels as though she can trust him to make right moral decisions). I am totally offended by this bunch of con men in charge of our country and I pray to God that the good Lord comes through for all of us and prove these bunch of phonies for what they are.

just because he says he prays, that does offend me too.

9. They're also having another movie...
It's called "Farenhype 9/11." I've seen clips of it from their website (you can find it doing a google search) and it shows them talking against Moore and his movie and whatnot. They said since Moore came out against them they had a right to defend themselves. Why doesn't Bush just tell the truth about everything? XOXO.
