This is so transparent (except to certain idiots in this country who are lucky they don't kill themselves tying their shoes). I think this cynical attempt at trying to sway the elections will cost the American military in the long run. And of course, like all of the actions of the bush*/Cheney cabal, it will damage the American reputation even more (if that's possible).

They are hoping this makes Kerry either tone down his remarks critical of Bush's Iraq strategy or if Kerry doesn't back down on the tough rhetoric, babyBush may get nasty and accuse him of lacking resolve and not supporting the troops.
