Will there B3?
For those of you who have not seen it, website claims theory that Bushco will not do 3rd debate. If the media spins a win or tie tomorrow. He is done with the hard work of defending his turrible record.

Check it out and tell a friend.

1. The only way Bush
can get out of doing the third debate is if there's some supposedly good reason -- heightened terror alert or actual attack, some crisis "requiring" the President's presence -- keeping him away. On this I agree with the blogger.

But I don't agree that the Town Hall format will allow Bush to shine. Quite the contrary. If they actually let the audience come up with their own un-vetted questions, there will be some real zingers for W. I thought I'd heard or read that the questions would all be scripted, but I can't even begin to give a source, so I may well be wrong.

Normally I cannot bear to watch or listen to either Bush or Cheney, but since I'm debate-watching with a group of like-minded Democrats, it's actually fun.

all Qs to be submitted by audience members in advance, audience members are NOT TO DEVIATE UNDER PENALTY OF REMOVAL. Or something like that. didn't say if they would use a Big Hook to sweep them off camera or what. :D

Now, not sure if Qs would then be given to campaigns or what....

3. Thank you.
I knew I'd read something about the questions being submitted ahead of time. Wouldn't it be nice if someone would have the nerve to deviate from the script?

4. Yes
That would be great.

There really shouldn't be a script in presidential debate anyway. People should be allowed to ask what they like.
