October surprise
We keep talking about the October surprise as something that the chimp is going to pull, but remember, the original October surprise was executed by the challenger, Ronald Reagan.

Considering how much the CIA and every other nation on the planet hates the chimpministration right now, I wouldn't be surprised if we've got an October surprise up our sleeve.

Any takers?

1. The October surprise is how badly the Chimp is going to get his ass
kicked in the debates.

2. The Duelfer report
That is the October surprise - IMHO.

snip from Yahoo - And what ambitions Saddam harbored for such weapons were secondary to his goal of evading those sanctions, and he wanted them primarily not to attack the United States or to provide them to terrorists, but to oppose his older enemies, Iran and Israel.

4. Hah! He should maybe
Instead have asked Georgie for another batch of missiles, like the ones he got earlier. If he was going to kick Iran's ass with them, the US would have given them to him any day, no?

My secret wish is that in the third debate, right before the end when he makes his close, he should throw a fit, collapse, and come to later in hospital with dementia. Real dramatic. So much for rerunning.
Have you ever read the play "Inherit the Wind" (or seen the movie)? A bit like Matthew Harrison Brady does at the end.

3. The Chimp wouldn't/couldn't plant WMDs in Iraq
He and his ilk really do have a lot of Civilian Government and Military types that do not approve.

5. What happened to GOPAgainstGW?
He/she used to post almost daily and promised that the Swift Liars would go down in flames come October. I haven't seen GOPAGW in quite awhile.

6. No. Bush/Regan feared an 'October surprise' by Carter
they were afrtaid he would get the hostages out of Tehran before the election.
Their job was to prevent Carter from doing so.
