Teresa Heinz Kerry's rally in Eugene, Oregon

I went to the Teresa Heinz Kerry rally today; I was in the front row. I shook her hand, and she signed my rally sign.

The rally was wonderful, but Teresa was more soft spoken and serious then I would have guessed. When she was shaking hands though, she seemed really personable and goofy (in a good way). Someone I was standing near said, "Thank you. Smart and well informed." And she shoots back, "Don't you mean opinionated? Hey, I'm feeling frisky today." And she did a little dance.

Those few seconds won me over more than anything she said during her speech. I already agree with her; I wanted to LIKE her. I'm happy to say that she's completely won me over. She will make a wonderful first lady.

I'm so jealous! I think Teresa is simply amazing and will make an incredible First Lady.

I love that she has an opinion and isn't afraid to voice it. Go Teresa!

5. She is definitely an amazing woman

We had several B/C fans in the crowd who interrupted her speech. I was impressed with how she handled the situation. She said she would be more than happy to talk with them after her speech, but interrupting was bad manners.

These people were standing right near me, and I was almost fearing for my life. People in Eugene are very supportive of Kerry and were furious with their presence. It looked like it might get out of control for a few seconds. Is there anyone here that could see what happened to these guys? I just don't want to see any dems stooping to the level of B/C supporters.
