Maybe This Deserves It's Own Thread: BBV And The Myth Of The Solid South?
Everyone around here that I know and respect hates Bush.

Did you know this? In 1980, Reagan beat Carter by one point in Alabama. In 1983, the state legislature ushered in electronic voting. In 1984 Reagan won by 23 points. Now I know that there's a big difference between Carter and Mondale, but that's a pretty big turn in the vote in only four years, isn't it?

1. You know you may be onto
something, and that would be actually great to see

Another benefit of uncovering the BBV scandal, and I surely hope you are right

2. I agree, I think it's been going on for a long time, but
I don't think the companies play much of a role. I don't think they program the machines or anything, but that the machines are just vulnerable and get manipulated individually.

5. I meant I don't think companies program them to favor a certain candidate.
Don't know for sure, but I think it because I think Nevada was rigged this year, but I'm almost positive that the Sequoia's would not have been pre-rigged.

Either way, the whole country is in deep shit and I agree that this is huge and our democracy is being stolen from us. I'm glad there are still people working hard on this!

3. our machines are optical scan by ES&S
And I'm attempting to get the precinct totals for all the counties. God I hope this shit blows up big. In my gut I know we Americans are being conned on a galactic level. I pray that we, citizens, find the truth.

(Don't mean to be melodramatic, but I truly believe our democracy has been stolen, and I want to take it back.)
