1. there's more
by 6pm KTUU news was reporting Vic Koering had been added to the list of being indicted and VECO had admitted to being company A with Allen and Smith as CEO and VP. No word just rumor on Olson and (Nome) Cowdery (Anchorage)and Ben.

Read the indictment (it's a PDF) on the Anchorage Daily News site - it is amazing the detailed evidence put together.

But you know, this is nothing new for VECO. They had some troubles with campaign contributions 20+ years ago. Apparently nothing has changed but (no one cared enough) nothing happened.

So what implications does this have wrt to PPT that was passed with the help of Kott et al?

2. I don't know...
It seems to me that they need to go back to the drawing board on that one. Obviously a tainted decision, and just what part did Frank the Bank play in all this?

3. I still can't believe the idiots who voted Koering in...
Edited on Sun May-06-07 12:28 AM by larissa

Even despite all the letters to the editor about his residence, etc..

Finally. The A-holes that kept putting that dirtbag (and all the others listed and still to come) in office, have to eat crow.

I sure hope Ben Stevens is next...

7. They hate government SO much
They were hoping Kohring would be able to use his dual statehood by fighting Big Government in the OREGON legislature as well.

That's just the kind of big picture folks these Wasilla types are.

They'll probably just elect a cleaner Kohring in '08.

5. I listened to Ethan Berkowitz this past week on the radio...
Edited on Sat May-12-07 02:41 AM by larissa

And while it may be "Ben who is next".... Ethan knows there's a vulnarability with Uncle Ted and now is the time to pounce.

I also believe Diane will never be in a better position if she's still ready for Don's job... FINALLY, people here are so sick of these corrupt bastards.

So.. Diane in the House?

Ethan in the U.S. Senate?

I think it's doable. His approval ratings even with R's right now is sky high (Ethan's) and he needs to strike while the iron is hot..

Go Dianne ~~~~~~~~ Go Ethan ~~~~~~~

8. Sounds like a possibility to me.
What would Mark and Eric do in your scenario, just out of curiousity?
