Pima County action
From an e-mail:

Dear Citizens.....

Today the Pima Co. Board of Supervisors reneged on their promise to audit the Dielbold Tsx machines. That promise was given to a group of citizen activists who spent 2 months educating them on the dangers of the Diebold Tsx voting machines. They said their hands were tied, "between a rock and a rock"......they agreed the trustworthyness, reliability, accuracy, and ease of use was in question but the Sec. of State Jan Brewer was not giving them a choice. They told us they would audit these machines to check their accuracy.

Today they reneged. They blammed the Sec. of State Jan Brewer again. It is simple. They did not stand up and fight for our vote. They lack courage and committement to us.

And it means there is no system of checks and balances for this election.

Now we can stand up for us by holding a peaceful vigil outside the Central Count Facility at 1301 So. Mission Rd. Bldg. 24...on the East side of Mission Road, south of Starpass.

We are starting to gather at 5:30 and it will go on and on as the count takes time.

Wear Orange, bring long burning candle......music and hope.

Please pass this on to others....this is a short notice ...let's see what we can pull together so the Election Officals and the Board of Supervisors know our vote is important to us and our desire for fair, honest, verifiable elections where every vote is counted accurately with clean systems of checks and balances is not going away.

Don't let these issues dissuade you from voting....your particiapation is more important than ever.
