Ah-nold saved them money

Right, the pukes recalled Davis and elected Ah-nold because they didn't want to pay a higher vehicle registration fee.

By now every one of them has paid at least 100 times what that fee would have cost them in higher gas prices, but they still think that Ah-nold saved them money.

Excuse me, they don't think, they believe that Ah-nold saved them money, and you can't argue with belief.

2. No, you're right. I guess to Ah-nold voters

higher taxes are bad, but higher prices are good. After all, higher taxes might benefit the poor, but higher prices only benefit the rich. Somewhere in America oil executives are gloating, and I hope it gets caught on tape.

4. Nothing, in fact he called his puke friends in Washington

and got them to lower gas prices. Or at least that's what I heard he was going to do before the election. And his friends in Washington lowered gas prices by invading Iraq. Gas prices are really lower. Aren't you glad the pukes won?

6. No, it was a talking point from his supporters.

His only promise that I know of was to roll back the vehicle registration fee. Which he did. So now everybody in California is better off than they were before.

Right?

7. no they aren't
losing the VLF revenues are starting to cripple local governments. people are so short sighted i want to fucking scream. sure, they don't have to pay an extra $50 on their registration, and in exchange the library can't buy any more books, the community college has to cut classes, and the fire department can't buy an extra truck. i wonder if the trade off is worth it to them? of course, i tend to believe anyone who voted for arnold based on this one issue is just a selfish idiot anyway, so i guess it wouldn't really matter.

9. It would have been more than $50 (more like $150+)...
...but your point is well taken.

8. What does the price of gas have to do with the VLF?
The effect on the VLF increase being rescinded has been less money for local goverments and has nothing to do with the price of gas.
