Is the Mayor of San Jose a dem?

I'm trying to get together best livable large cities with low crime rates mayored by dems.

San Jose is at the top and San Francisco is in the top ten and run by a dem I assume?

1. They're both probably Democrats

but in California all local elections are non-partisan, you cannot run as a member of a political party. So, they don't usually list party affiliation in their bios.
