There is a Meetup.com Noam Chomsky readers group in Pasadena that will meet this Saturday at the Coco's on Lake in Pasadena. If any LA area DU'ers are interested in discussing his work in person, please take a look at http://nchomsky.meetup.com/83/members/ and see if you'd like to join us.

I'll have a bunch of CD's of his speeches available for free at this meetup, and I'd enjoy meeting anyone who would like to discuss his work. I've found it very enlightening to say the least.

What's in it for you? A free CD, a decent cup of coffee, and a lively discussion of US foreign policy and dissent of our current administration's stance on the use of our military force.

I'll be there. Come on by! It's at the Coco's on Lake Street close to the 210 freeway. I have bunch of Chomsky CD's to hand out. Noam said to go ahead and hand out his speeches, just try not to get arrested.

2. We'll be in Pasadena Christmas

...coming from Bakersfield. Dec 21-26. We're going to Huntington Library & Botanical Gardens(again), LA Arboretum, Norton Simon Museum and the Pasadena Museum of CA Art, The Ice House (for some good comedy), Moose McGillyCuddy's (some nite life), Pasadena Playhouse (for their show "Plaid Tidings"). My understanding is that there is a good Christmas light tour, so we'll do that,too.

I know this is off topic, but if you know of any cool events that week, my hubby and I would appreciate your expert input.
