J20 - Orange County. Oppose the Coronation in the heart of the OC
The event is being planned for 11 A.M. at the Ronald Reagan U.S. District Court in Santa Ana. There will be speeches and a march around the Civil Center.

The news media barely covers our protest. This is a chance to take our protest to the people. On a Thursday, this area will be bustling with observers, both rich and poor. It is an excellent chance to get out the message. So come and bring your neighbors and relatives and all those you want to inform about the theft of the election.

2. I plan to attend this one too.
It looks like the better protest. The L.A. one is being thrown by ACTION and they don't like the Democratic Party. Given the outcome of January 6th, the Democratic Party will probably be much more under attack in L.A. than Bush is. At the last J-20 L.A., Gore received worse treatment than Bush.

3. This one will be more coordinated with the timing of the DC event.
Also, people will be carpooling from OC to the Westwood event.

6. January 20 @ 11:00 am in OC
Any other details we should be aware of? Also--if you know who organized this one?

Thanks!

OC sometimes easier for me to get to than the Westside. ;)

7. It's a pretty large coaltition:Dems, Greens, anti-war groups.
It involves Democratic clubs and ADs. the OC Peace Coalition, Veterans for Peace, the OC Green Party, and others. I understand Code Pink is going to be there.

8. It looks like it will be pretty large
This will make a big impact because it will be seen by people who are not likely to be as well informed about the opposition to Bush.

9. I understand that the group will march to the civic center for speeches
at about 11:30. Apparently they have a huge rallying area right in the middle of business for the speeches.
