Hank Eng wins CD6 votes.
He won about 81% of the votes at the CD6 Assembly yesterday. Neither Steve Clark or Ivan Botvin cleared the 30% threshold. Clark had said that he would not try to petition onto the primary ballot. Botvin was not sure.

OK CD6 constituents, Hank needs your contributions!

1. More on the Assembly /Convention:
We tried out a new voting system that used a bar scan for your credentials and ballots. It still took about five hours to get the alternates seated and the assembly started three hours late. I was there for 8 1/2 hours!

It was not as crowded as the Arapahoe County Assembly/Convention, but it was a very slow and boring process. Perhaps 200 of the 2000 delegates (I'm estimating) did not show up. Luckily, the alternates filled those spots.

Incredibly, CDs 3,4 & 5 are holding their Assembly/Conventions on the same day at the same location (Doubletree in The Springs), albeit with staggered times.

I am NOT looking forward to the state convention. There is not enough room at the World Arena. And the alternates will have to wait outside in a tent.
