starts at about 7:30 and lasts until 7:00 a.am in the morning. It has something to do with the AM frequencies. Some stations seem to power down at night and some others have frequencies that go over several states at night. I get AM 940 out of Macon if I try to get the Ft. Lauderdale station before 7:00 in the morning.
WSM out of Nashville (Grand Ol Opry) is one of the stations I know of that gets to power up at night. It can be heard throughout the south at night.
both 940 and 1290 at the same time in the middle of the afternoon. It's hard to believe it was a coincidence. They both turned to static at approximately the same time. What are the chances of that? I was in my car. When I came home I got both stations okay on the net.
