Just noticed some hidden trouble for Florida
I've been watching and reading about the housing bubble problem and especially the Foreclosure situation.

Tonight some Stats caught my eye.

"Foreclosure Stats

The ten states with the highest foreclosure rates in the third quarter.
By State per household

Nevada 1 in 61
Calif 1 in 88
Florida 1 in 95
Mich 1 in 102
Ohio 1 in 107
Colo 1 in 109
Ariz 1 in 112
Georgia 1 in 142
Indiana 1 in 196
Texas 1 in 205

The trouble I see are the States of Michigan, Ohio and Indiana. These are Floridas' Snowbird States. How will their troubles affect us here in Florida?

Any realty experts on this board?

1. I don't see Mich, Ohio and Ind as a problem for Florida...
because those aren't our Snowbird States, at least not all-inclusively. There's a lot more Canadians and New Yorkers down here than there are Ohioans.
