I gotta vote Republican today

It would give me great joy to vote against Ralph Reed. I don't want to miss this chance.

1. I don't understand
why people are crossing over to vote against Reed. We have a much better chance of beating him then Cagle. Cagle is just as conservative and right wing, and with no obvious skeletons a bigger danger in November. Reed has given us plenty of bad press to work with! Cagle has given us none.

All of the Dems crossing over my be part of the problem right now and not the solution.

2. you 're right. Oh I wish I could vote against Reed today though
I guess it's better if I hope I have a chance to vote against Reed in November.

3. I crossed over to vote against Linda Schrenko,
a vile, disgusting cow who was running for Gov. in the GA Gooper primary, in 2002.

I voted for the less offensive Sonny Perdue.

Boy howdy, I sure am proud of myself. I sure showed those Fascists who's boss, huh?

7. Good point,
Edited on Tue Jul-18-06 06:39 PM by Jawja
but I don't trust the voters of GA to defeat Reed in November. Just a hunch.

on edit: Remember, we've got Diebold. Perhaps this was the chance to REALLY vote against Reed.

4. Good for you. I did the same.
Don't want that Fundie Fascists to win anything. If he wins the primary it will give him confidence & he will run for more offices. Lt. Gov is just a stepping stone for him. He has trashed his opponent enough so the Dems should be able to beat him.

5. I also voted in the thug primary
this is the best chance to send Ralphie packing by voting for Cagle.

I voted for whoever that was running against Perdue. Probably some neo-nazi, but it will rock the boat a little, and hopefully damage his image of invincibility.

10. yeah, I researched McBerry when I got home and was appalled
it's always amusing to see people like this run as repugs. I almost wish he'd win the primary, then the Democratic Candidate would not even have to campaign to win.

11. that'd be something, wouldn't it?
I just couldn't bring myself to vote for him. I only vote for Cagle and then voted for every other race where there was an incumbent I could vote AGAINST! (I'm sure some of those folks were appalling, too.)

6. I did vote Repug today,
just for that purpose. I'm thinking that with a low primary turnout, a lot of people doing the same might tip the race to his opponent. 11Alive was reporting that Reed and Cagle were in a dead heat, with 14% undecided. I'm thinking those were Repug voters.
