Did anybody go to the game and hear any boos or jeering? It seems like the mainstream media "washed out" the booing if there was any.

3. but only the Wonks got tickets
in order to get tickets to this game, you had to buy a season or part season package. and the lower bowl is entirely VIPs, you'd have better luck getting lower bowl tickets at Fenway to a Yankee game in October.

5. plus, we don't boo
it's not really our thing in DC. The one thing we know is that Presidents come, and Presidents go, but the beaurocracy is forever. GW Bush will leave DC in 2009, but I'll still be here. No one looks at the motorcades, or complains more than usual about the Security, we're used to it. I notced the people on the news, and in the paper, complaining about the game, security and the food were all from outside the District. We're used to it. 150 years of having the rest of the country bash you and shit on you will do that to a city. We have a complex, and we know it. We'd complain about the government getting off our backs, but we are the gubmint the rest of the country hates so much. nothin new.
