Oct. 20th, Egyptian Theatre, Jim Hansen Fund Raiser...feature Carole King
from:Idaho Democrats
Fund-raisers for Jim feature Carole King!
Join us for an exciting fund-raising event that will help propel Jim to victory in November!
We're hosting an evening of music, humor and politics on Friday, October 20, at the beautiful and historic Egyptian Theatre in downtown Boise. This special event will feature music by Idaho's own Carole King, a Grammy Award winner and Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductee. The hilarious Fool Squad, Tom Willmorth and Joe Golden (the Idaho Shakespeare Festival's Green Show guys), will provide the laughs. And no political rally would be complete without a few short speeches from surprise guests to fire you up for the final push to Election Day.
Festivities begin at 7:30 p.m. Friday, October 20, at the Egyptian Theatre, 700 W. Main St. Buy a glass of wine and chat with friends before the show begins at 8 p.m.
Tickets are $30, $50, $75 and $100 at the Egyptian box office or by phone, 387-1273 (4 p.m. to 10 p.m.). You also can mingle with Carole King and guests at a special after-show party at the Egyptian with food by the Piper Pub. Tickets for this party are $50, limited to the first 50 people, and are available at 343-9876.

Carole King performs at Pocatello fund-raiser, too!
We are thrilled to announce details of the second fund-raiser for Jim with music by Grammy Award winner and Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductee Carole King. It will be held Thursday, Oct. 19, at the beautiful and acoustically stunning Stephens Performing Arts Center's Jensen Concert Hall on the Idaho State University in Pocatello.
This exciting evening also features music by Idaho singer-songwriter Steve Eaton and a few short political speeches from surprise guests to fire you up for Election Day.
Tickets are $40, $50 and $60 at the Stephens Performing Arts Center box office from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. or by phone, (208) 282-3595.

What about Jim's $100 limit?
Are you concerned that buying a ticket to one of these fund-raisers will put you over Jim's self-imposed contribution limit of $100 per person per election cycle?
If you are already a $100 donor for the general election, first let us say, THANK YOU! We want you to attend this event, but ask that you recruit someone (spouse, mom, co-worker) who can buy a ticket for you. This is a good chance for you to ask all those people you have been meaning to ask to contribute to Jim's campaign. If you have any questions, call 343-9876 and talk to Jane or Tom.

Spread the word and act NOW!
Please help us spread the word -- forward this e-mail to your friends, family and co-workers. We expect this event to sell out quickly, so act fast. This is going to be a thrilling evening -- and we want you there!
Help elect Jim Hansen to Congress -- Together we can do it!

1. I wish I could make it
but I can't. I have donated the max though. Hansen is a good man and I wish him the best of luck in November.
