1. YearlyKos is Aug 2-5 this year
There will probably be out of town DUers. I am probably attending and have taken those days off work already.

2. we need to figure out what nights out of towners
will be available, and maybe what the hot night time draws are, so we don't schedule the same night. maybe not possible, but. opinions would be helpful.

4. WesPACers are hosting one on Friday night.
Mopinko, you're right to plan something as soon as possible. We were told that on Friday night there would be a break for the conventioners to attend some of the several parties that would be going on presumably in the area around the convention. So, we assumed that space may be snatched up quickly and didn't waste any time.

We reserved a space for a buffet and cash bar at Grace O'Malleys on South Michigan Avenue from 6-9. It's open invitation, if anyone wants to come and hang out with us.

The plan now is that my brother, kevsand, and I will be driving up together. If our party is too boring for him and he can manage to go party hopping, I won't tie him down. But, I have to stay with ours, because I'm a coordinator. So, I'll have to make it up there for a DU party another time.

Good luck!
Karen

6. I would be interested but it will depend
Friday is the Presidential candidates' forum day and it may go on for longer than 5 pm, not to mention that I would like to meet up with DU'ers who are also interested in John Edwards as a candidate. Otherwise, I would like to meet some from the Illinois forum since I am a downstater and don't get to Chicago very often.

Looks like the Presidential Forum is Sat afternoon.

How convenient is the McCormick Center to the Chicago folks? One option is to meetup in the hotel bar? It might be pretty crowded though, the hotel's sold out!
All those progressives...Woot!

I know benny and I will be doing the Edwards supporters thing, still don't know that time and place.

Should be fun guys, can't wait :)

11. And at some point there's a draft Gore thing, too
And there are regional meetups on Thursday afternoon sometime.

I'm going to want to split myself into three people, I think, to do everything I want to do and see everyone I want to see.
