Is there anything I can do?

I live in Chicago. Is there anything I can do to volunteer for the upcoming elections? Even if it is just making copies, answering phones or filling envelopes, I am very willing to do whatever i can do to be as involved as I can.

1. I am in Texas but locate your precinct on your voter's registration and

call the County Chair and tell them what precinct you are in and how you want to help and they will shriek with delight to have a volunteer. Thanks from all of us.

They need people to educate, stuff envelopes, call, and that sort of thing.

I will call first thing monday morning and see if there is anything I can do.

I just feel that being informed is not enough. Stuffing envelopes and working the phones would at least make me feel as if I am contributing more than my vote and voice.

you can get all the volunteer information from there.

As the election gets closer, they will have phone banks to staff and neighborhoods to canvass.

5. Germanfest

You should come to Germanfest (September 11 & 12) - there will be lots of Dems out, and there will be voter registration, etc.

If you get on the Obama list, you will get lots of info about registration drives and such.
