10. There has been quite a bit posted already.

The crowd grew tremendously after 8:30 PM......I was at the gate then....Had a damn Internet ticket. Apparently, Springfield's "insiders" got all the "VIP" tickets wherein they got in closer to to the podium. The worst was....we Internet ticket holders were placed next to a fucking high school band, way in the back. It did not matter that you came in early...! Too close for me....I was pisst; call the mayor on a cell phone....He was already up front and couldn't do anything.


But, the feel of the crowd was one of hope, strong support and loving. They too want their country back. Dennis Kucinich was there. I was too far back to pick-up who else was there and the band gave me a headache that I still have!


I knew the message would be a "go for the juggler." I really enjoy watching the rebroadcast of the Rally. I can see what I missed.

I supported him and voted for him out of a mass of 5 dem candidates. There was alot of hype about him here on DU after (and even before) the primaries and I was so thrilled during his keynote speech to see how well he delivered, and at the reaction of the out of staters, even skeptical ones, who confirmed I wasn't being a homey. I am so proud of him! Yes, we will all be happy to share him with the nation.

He truly is a breath of fresh air (unlike Nixon). He's intelligent, sincere, kind, thoughtful, just, eloquent and pretty easy on the eyes to boot. My friend at work is pregnant and a huge fan of Obama, so I made her a maternity t-shirt that says "Obama Mama" to wear to his speeches.

I wish Obama could be president right this instant.

that all the officers were told to be vigilent because Obama is now on the "Wellstone list" -- yes that was the name they used.
