7. In Illinois? I don't think it's the highest ever in the US
Some times parties don't even run candidates. Look at Idaho this year, the Democrats didn't care to field a candidate.

Is it true that the last poll shows Keyes with only 16% of the vote, and the trend is heading down even lower?
