1. Yes and it was a fairly sharp jolt with some things nearly falling off shelves.

2. no - of course, I live way down by St Louis

and I didn't even feel the one we had a couple years ago.

Of course, I'm not awakened easily, so an earthquake at 4am would have to be pretty major for me to notice, I think.

I have a friend who lives in Brookfield who didn't notice it either.

4. No. And the epicenter was only about an hour away from me.

I felt the last one. It rattled the windows, woke me me up and set the dog barking. I thought someone was breaking into the house. That one was about 4:00 a.m., too.

I don't know why I slept through this one.
