Alan Keyes - Get the fuck out of my home state!
Ever since this joker decided to run in Illinois, I've been awaiting the day he'd finally leave the great state of Illinois. It offends me to no end that this idiot thought he could waltz into a state he's never lived in and use it as a soap box for his extremeist rhetoric. Granted, it made Obama's election all but certain, but it is still insulting that his name was even on the ballot. I honestly would've rather seen a debate of real issues with Jack Ryan. I wanted Obama to beat him by a crushing 50% margin in hopes that it would destroy any political viability he had left. Yet he still insists on staying!

So, this is for you Alan - get the fuck out of my state! Nobody wants you here, not even the Republicans. And don't let the door hit your ass on the way out!

I encourage everyone to call or e-mail Keyes's campaign office to tell him to fuck off.

1. Why IS he still around? What is the "party line" rationalization?
Other than his home state probably doesn't want him, either!

Keyes is to the Republican party in Illinois as Mt. Vesuvius was to Pompeii. I say, let him stay. Let him be the face of the Illinois Republican party. We can only benefit from having this douchebag stick around.

6. yeah, I realize the benefit of having him around
but every time I see his annoying self-righteous face on TV or hear his condescending sanctimonious trash talk, I get so angry. He embodies everything I hate about the Republican party. Maybe that's the point, though.

7. He's sticking around
According to Michael Sneed in the Sun-Times, he bought a condo in the Loop. I'm glad he's staying. He's the best thing to happen to Illinois Democrats since George Ryan.

11. Movin' on up.
Isn't that the theme Rush played when CMB was elected to the Senate. You knew Keyes wasn't going to stay in that little fortress in Cal City. Wonder if he'll bring his machine gun.
