Vice President Dick Cheney spent the morning with Hoosier soldiers. He was at Camp Atterbury near Edinburgh around 11:00 a.m. to address troops.

Cheney spoke to a crowd of more than 1,000, including National Guard soldiers, airmen and Marines from across Indiana. During his speech he reiterated the Bush administration's plan to stay the course in Iraq.

The crowd was mostly made up of recently returned troops. We were invited, but chose to decline. I'm sure you are shocked to hear that one! :D
