Indianapolis - Democratic Rep. Andre Carson of Indiana has been elected to a leadership position in the Congressional Black Caucus.

Carson says he'll be will be the caucus whip, a job that involves securing votes and helping with political strategy. Carson says he's honored to have the leadership position in the group, which he says acts as the "conscience of the Congress" and advances an agenda of change.

2. I feel your pain

I was in Burton's district in the 90's. Now I'm in Buyer's district, which f***ing Todd Rokita will be taking over.

I'm literally one precinct away from Carson--the place I vote has two precincts, and the other one is in the Seventh. It does give me a smidgeon of hope that I might end up in the Seventh in the next round of gerrymandering.
