I hope it is simply wishful thinking on Mitch's part.

1. Wait till he has to deal with voters elsewhere in the country . . .
who have heard about what he has done here. :eyes:

2. This is perhaps a very un-scientific poll
However the results with 18,955 votes are :

Obama 55%
Daniels 45%

Agree the "will he, won't he run" has reached its peak
and worn rather thin. If there is any credibility at
all to this poll then Mitch should give it up.

5. Another way to say he wants
to spend more time with his family. Or perhaps he has
been viewing some very scientific polls in reaching his
decision.

3. UPDATE 5/20/11
Votes cast 22,709

Obama 58%
Daniels 42%

Very unscientific but it should tell you something.
Sorry Mitch, maybe 2016.

4. Guess he didn't think that after all
Mitch decided tonight that he wasn't going to run. Privacy issues...aka he didn't want him and his wife's dirty laundry all over the national teevees

6. Spend more time with the family
This is my guess as to what his excuse will be. The star ran a story this past week about how he was in phone conference with Bush and Laura Bush was talking to his wife about what WH life might be like. The comments section was filled with hate messages aimed at both Mitch and Bush. But it is still a Repub state.
