keep pressure on Culver to fund optical scan machines for 2008
from RapidResponse:

It's not a done deal, so no champagne yet, but this looks promising. Thanks to everyone who has called the Governor; it's making a difference. The Governor has stated that he wants to find a way to fund the purchase of voting systems that use the most reliable form of voter-verified paper trail: the paper ballot. He is putting together a working group consisting of Secretary of State Mauro, lawmakers, and the Governor's staff.

Keep the pressure on. If you have not already called the Governor, call 515-281-5211 and urge him to support funding for paper ballot/optical scan voting systems
