Culver train tour
Did anyone go to the train events that Culver had on his way to Chicago? One of our school board members rode the train with her kids & said it was awesone (and she's a Republican!). :)

Rurallib, did you and the Mrs. go?

We learned about it too late to ride along. :(

1. Mrs. Lib and I plus our mentee all went.
It was cool in the train. Very comfortable. Very nice smooth ride. Unfortunately we had to listen to the speeches once more in Durant before our return.
At a round trip cost of an estimated $40/person, Mrs. Lib and I could easily see ourselves taking some trips. Too bad there isn't a leg to the Lib kids in Peoria or Indy.
We got to talk to Dave for about 5 minutes. He always lets me know how HC is going. I think we really bonded early in his campaign.
Tom Courtney came by and talked to Randy for about two minutes.
We were right there with the mayors current and past. The mayor's kids seemed to really enjoy the trip.
