LTTE: Grassley + Rand Paul
Does Grassley stand with the tea partiers.
After seeing the Rand Paul interview with Rachel Maddow and hearing his interview with Robert Siegel on NPR, I wondered how our Republican Senator Chuck Grassley feels about Mr. Paul’s stand.
I think this is a fair question for the Senator. Mr. Paul is an avowed Tea Partier and Republican. The Republican Party has heartily embraced the Tea Party. As one of the leaders in the Republican Party, I believe we need to know how Mr. Grassley feels about the expressed positions of this element of his party.
Does Mr. Grassley as a party leader support or disavow Rand Paul’s views on the Civil Rights Act of 1964? This is a very relevant question about a fundamental law of our country. Either support a member of your party or disavow these views. This is now a very basic issue for the Republican Party.
Also, as a leader of the Republican Party, I think it is well past time that Mr. Grassley make some statement on the incredibly offensive signs that have been showing up at Tea Party rallies.
Mr. Grassley, you owe Iowans a statement on whether or not you stand with the tea party.

He has been schmoozing these fuckers. Either he lies with them and gets their fleas or he disavows them and get their wrath.

Please, please, please help out and write to your papers.
