Anybody see the senatorial candidatye debate today?
Saw a joint appearance in Coralville Saturday.
I will cede the nomination to Roxanne, yet in the 3 way appearance Fiegen handed Roxanne her rear end.
She really needs to kick it up a notch or three. Grassley is one dirty campaigner.

1. being the pragmatist I am
I want Conlin to get within 10-15 points first. Grassley beat his opponent by 40 points in 2004 and hasn't gotten below 65% the past four elections. I just want to close the gap first. Then when Grassley will most likely retire in 2016, the seat should be open for the dems taking, especially if King runs.

I expect a surge right after the primary. Please get out and help make it happen.
Haven't had a beer for 20 years, but would like to try my first Sam Adams on November 2.

3. Disagree
First, I thought Fiegen looked tremendously unprofessional and clearly does not understand tax credits.

Second, I think getting some of this stuff out there now will immunize Conlin from future attacks. I would much rather get it aired out now than late October.

I think Conlin v. Grassley is going to be a toss up. If he is as senile as he appears and has any more odd statements or tweets Conlin will roll him.

4. I was talking about the joint appearance in Coralville
I just read John Deeth's blog about the Monday appearance. Haven't seen it. Sounded like Fiegen was - uh - as you say unprofessional.
Grassley is very vulnerable. I hope Roxanne can put him away. I hope we get a huge amount of help from volunteers. It will take a huge effort.
