Pre-Picketing?

I read this article in the QC Times:

And was wondering what everyone thought about "practice picketing" It's an interesting idea and it should show a united front within the Union... quite frankly, I don't know if I could have been so patient as to wait from September of last year before doing something active about the situation. Still, I wonder how the community of Wilton will react to it. Anyone local?

Not real familiar with it, but I am sure it will be a big topic next CC meeting Tuesday. One little bit of scuttlebutt I have heard is that there may be an attempt to break the union. Not sure how valid that is.
Wilton is very, very red. Almost western Iowa red. We have had to work very hard to get a precinct captain up there. Over the years there have been some odd things happen down there. I know a couple of teachers that are Dems and they speak of being singled out at certain times.
So it may be interesting to see if Wilton will support workers trying to better themselves or if they will be reactionary.
