2. I doubt it really matters
I RSVPed. But I doubt they will turn anyone away who just shows up. I also am willing to bet we will know people who come.

15. About that,
I'm really, really sorry I did that to you. I had no idea you'd get dizzy so quickly. When you fell down and hit your head, I was really scared. But then, I heard that hollow sound as your head hit the floor and I knew everything would be okay.

I never thought I'd say this but, I miss Osbourne. Nebraska is supposed to be good at football. You don't know how many wishbones I broke on Thanksgiving growing up. It was supposed to symbolize breaking OU's wishbone offense.

24. They used to be a powerhouse.
My parents went to NU. We used to live next door to an Oklahoma die-hard. When the NU and OU faced off in '71, there was a war in the neighborhood.
And Barry Switzer was always the Devil. Most likely a Protestant to boot.

25. I grew up in OKC
My high school was a block from Cecil Samara who drove an Model T Ford with "Boomer Sooner" as its horn. He drive that fucking car around the school blasting his horn. He had dentures with the words "Big Red" on them. I can't tell you how often I wanted to knock those dentures down his throat.

28. The name Ruf/Nek says a lot.
And this ariticle:

Shotguns Click
One of the most famous of our traditions is the firing of our ceremonial shotguns. These guns are carefully modified 12 gauge shotguns that have an extra large barrel. They are fired in the pre-game activities at all home games, as well as the OU/TX game at Dallas. We also fire the guns at events across the state to which we are invited. Every year the title of "Keeper of the Guns" is passed down to someone new. This person is responsible for the upkeep of the shotguns.

Surely, this isn't restricted to OU fottball?

Okay, it is either a bird or I may want to start shopping for an exorcist.
