Hello fellow Kentuckians.
I just wanted to say hi to my fellow democrats in the bluegrass state. I feel like there aren't very many of us. lol. Of course I'm going to vote but I don't suppose it's really going to make that big of a difference considering that our state is soooo red(neck). Wouldn't it be nice if we shocked everybody and actually turned blue. Wishful thinking, I know.

1. Go out and canvass. You'll find that there are many of "us" - Lunsford needs help
Even if Obama doesn't carry Kentucky, it would be a major victory to knock McConnell out of the Senate.
Oh, and welcome to DU!

5. Re: More Registered
In my Metro Council District in Louisville, Dems outnumber Republicans by nearly 3400 people, but we keep getting stuck with a knuckledragging right-winger. The are DINO.

4. Louisville
Louisville is an island of Democratic reality in this ocean of dumbness that is Kentucky. So is Lexington. In Louisville, though, we have our share of "red" precincts where city councilmen run goofball campaigns like Rove & Co. Anyone here from Valley Station? Check out my blog and you will understand what my 'hood is like.
