Isaac raising money for 2010 mayoral race- Lexington
http://www.kentucky.com/211/story/700794.html

Former Lexington Mayor Teresa Isaac wants her old job back.

On Tuesday, Isaac mailed a letter to the Kentucky Registry of Election Finance informing the registry of her intention to begin raising money for the 2010 mayoral race. The registry received the letter Thursday.

Isaac was defeated by Mayor Jim Newberry in her re-election bid. She was the first sitting mayor to be defeated by a challenger since the city and county governments merged in 1974.

1. There were reasons she was defeated
I hope Lexington doesn't open the door to all that drama again.

3. Sold Out
She screwed me over as vice mayor. She sold out to a crook and she has had the fucking nerve to have asked me for money. I work in the public and will share my dirt with a lot of people. Kentucky has too many crooked democrats, what a pity. The unfortunate thing is that Teresa showed so much promise until she sold out to the dark side.

4. I'm not sure that Newberry isn't any different in terms of selling out. I'm still waiting to see
if anyone else declares before the deadline, i.e. Jim Gray.

5. Newberry
He turned out to be a tool. I like Jim Gray. We haven't had good leadership in a long time. Over the years the sold out mayors are just smarter than the Sheriffs' Dept. They got caught stealing for years and years but it looks like they learned a lesson as they appear clean now. This mayor seems clueless.
