if you live in Ashland, Framingham, Franklin, Holliston, Hopkinton, Medway or Natick (certain parts), please vote for Karen Spilka for State Senate ...

I can tell you after meeting and speaking with all the candidates that Karen is the class of the field ... the other two are OK but lack Karen's enthusiasm, her compassion and her ability to work with people. It sounds a little hokey but Karen really is a "people person" ... She likes people; she listens to people and she learns from people ...

besides, I've worked my ass off for her campaign and I'm going to be royally po'd if it all goes to waste ... so damnit, get out and vote for her ... this is going to be a close election and a few votes in the primary one way or the other will be very significant.

and if you live in Ashland or Framingham, please tell me whom to vote for for State Rep ... I think they're all pretty weak ... As best I can determine, Esty is the conservative in the race ... I'm worried the other two, Sannicandro and Oriel will end up splitting the "liberal" vote ...

1. Spilka Won Her Primary !!

just got back from the victory party ... it was nice to be on the winning team for a change ...

I talked to a number of AFL-CIO political types who told me Romney has been buying up all kinds of TV time to push Republican candidates around the state ... that's going to be very tough to compete with ... most local candidates cannot afford that kind of expense ...

if you haven't been peddling a few bucks to your local state reps and state senators, you'd better start soon ... the last thing we need is more Republicans in the State House ...

so now it's Spilka versus Coffey ... Coffey has already started spewing right-wing hatred ... let's hope the voters out here in MetroWest see him for the biggot that he is ... this campaign is going to get ugly in a hurry ...
