OK... let me give this a try
I have an extra ticket to see the BSO on Friday night.

Yes, I know it conflicts with the meetup, but when someone GIVES me symphony tickets, I don't turn them down.

Anyway, I have two tickets and no one to go with, and I thought maybe someone here might be interested. The program is J.S. Bach's St. Matthews Passion

****************************************************
About the Music

Johann Sebastian Bach’s St.Matthew Passion is one of the supreme works of Western art. He wrote it for St. Thomas’s Church, Leipzig, in the late 1720s. Bach’s great work interleaves text from the Gospel of Matthew in Martin Luther’s translation, presented by soloists in highly expressive recitative and aria, with choral passages whose style is that of church hymns. This is a rare opportunity to hear the BSO perform this work, which will be lead by BSO Conductor Emeritus Bernard Haitink.

1. PM Sallymander
She's in Boston (her hometown) with Iza for the rest of the week. :)

If I were anywhere near Boston, I'd be there. I'd love to hear the Boston Symphony.

4. Aw man...
If I didn't have friends coming in from out-of-town (Chicago!) on Friday, I would *so* drive up there to enjoy that with you! Good luck finding a taker! Did you try Craig's List? :)

5. Egads! St. Matthew Passion under Haitink? Almost tempted to fly to Boston...
Assuming BSO is "Boston Symphony Orchestra", which I imagine it is.
