GOP State Senate have a leadership battle on their hands
You could think that deciding the leadership of the GOP State Senate caucus would be easy. At least, they are only 4 and one of them has been there for only 6 months(replacing Scott Brown). Apparently not true. Tarr and Hedlund are both interested. I guess that $22,500 additional salary has its charm.

In interviews with the News Service, Sens. Bruce Tarr and Robert Hedlund both expressed interest in succeeding Richard Tisei as Senate minority leader, with Tarr saying he’s definitely seeking it and Hedlund saying he’s considering the post, which carries a $22,500 stipend on top of a $61,000 salary.
