Wayne Co. needs election day precinct managers. Paid positions available.
This is from today's Detroit News:
Westland - Election Day precincts need resident helpers.
The city clerk's office seeks qualified residents to help manage voting precincts on Election Day. Several residents, especially young ones, are needed for the Nov. 2 general election, City Clerk Eileen DeHart said. Several election volunteers could be needed in Romulus, Garden City, Inkster, and Wayne. Those communities have the same requirements as Westland. To work for the city, a volunteer must be 16 or older, registered to vote (was the "16" a typo in the paper?), and a Wayne Co. resident. The city pays election workers $120 or more for a day's work. For information, call City Hall at 734-467-3185.
