Join the GOP for free pizza during the SOTU!
State of the Union Party At State Party Headquarters

Be sure to join Republican Party of Minnesota Chairman Ron Carey and other Republicans leaders for the President's State of the Union Address on Tuesday, January 31, 2006. The speech begins at 8 PM so get there early to get a good seat. We are located at 525 Park St., Suite 250 in St. Paul.

If you are interested in attending, please email stateoftheunion@mngop.com to RSVP.

Free pizza and soda will be provided.

Eating BEFORE Bush's speech is advised while you still have an appetite.

The original mailing of this invitation had the date wrong. But then, we're used to the GOP getting the facts wrong.

Thanks to http://www.mngopwatch.com/ for the heads up!

1. Ah, the party faithful. That should be a really hot time.
I'd rather go to one of these:

5. What's up with all the SOTU parties?
I refuse to celebrate Bush's lies. We all know what he will say. He'll stand there, shoulders half cocked, an asinine smirk on his face, a neurotic snicker here and there. I don't care to count the references to 911, the denials, the patronizing sales job of his new plans regarding the development of alternative fuel for automobiles and promoting the construction of new nuclear power plants. Every time I see him on C-Span, I try to watch for a few minutes, but end up cursing and changing channels. Dave Chappell is on the Comedy Channel at 9! If you want to re-live 911, just watch flight 93, it's on A&E at 10! Shoot, the corporatist media has more fear mongering terror crap on TV these days than you can shake a stick at. Gotta keep the fear factor up ya know. Anyone watch 24 lately? Pretty cool plot last night regarding the Presidents close adviser selling nerve gas to terrorists! Maybe. they're trying to prepare the unsuspecting public to be able to take the coming revelations regarding the Bush administration. Bush'll say "I didn't know Dick and Karl did this.... Really..eh..eh" Ok Ok, I might be up for a protest, but that's it! I can't stand to watch the half wit.
