Cheney in East Grand Forks Fri 8/6 ; Counter-rally planned for Dems

Cheney will land at Grand Forks Air Force Base, ND at about 11:30, followed by a campaign event at Cabella's in downtown East Grand Forks.

Counter-rally is 2:15 at the River Walk Center in downtown EGF (across the street from Cabella's).

Anyone going to make it? Suggestions for protest signs, etc?

2. hey cheezy we should stick the groups together. the people involved with

VOICES and that are on the UND-Alliance listserv have all been told 10am at the Times Square, but if we couldn't get an exact time other than between 9am-noon. If it's at 11:30 we should work out a time and have everyone meet together.

3. well, the word on the Kerry-Edwards rally is this

I talked to the DFL guy and they're expecting around 100 (the more the better, so bring your friends) at 2pm at the riverwalk center mall in EGF. It's a positive, pro-Kerry rally (minimal attention on Cheney).

what does VOICES have going on? I'm up for both.
