Very Informal meet up for the Minneapolis Area DUers...
Over in the lounge, I inadvertently discovered that there are quite a few Minneapolis areas DUers that like and patronize Spyhouse Coffee and Espresso. Thus was born an Idea, why not a get together at Spyhouse, very informal and not well planned...

maybe we could have a monthly get together there or something too. Who knows, give me your ideas here.

Jason.

I'd like to join the festivities. 1pm is kinda early for me (I live 45-minutes south of the Cities and work nights) but I could prolly handle getting up 'early' once a month.

because of traffic, parking and the loss of the 35W bridge. (I'd be coming from north of St. Paul.)

But, I'll make another meet-up one of these days.

this Saturday, at 1pm, DUers from the metro area are meeting at Spyhouse for coffee, Lunch (perhaps) and some good conversation.

Be there for all the fun we wont be able to post in the lounge...

Edit: It has been brought to my attention that we need a way to figure out who is who when we all get there, so I have an idea. I will either bring my mac with me and have DU open, and if that doesn't work, or I don't feel like carrying it, I will also be wearing a yellow coat and a University of Michigan hat. I also have glasses.

because I refuse to go participate in a rigged contest like the primaries/caucus system.

I wanted to caucus for Kucinich.

I really dislike Hillary and Obama.

50. I agree!!!
I wanted Kucinich. Edwards was my compromise candidate, but that is as far as I go.

I really wish you had elected to be a delegate. It isn't about supporting hill-bama, it is actually more important in helping select the next democratic candidate running agaisnt Norm Coleman.

But it is ok, most people in this country over-fixate on the nationals. If you want a senate candidate that is a lot like Wellstone and Kucinich you should look into Jack Nelson Paulmeyer. Very progressive man!
