3. Take up guns to keep doing climate change?

Assuming her brother is a certified meteorologist, there is a difference and he should know between meteorology and climate. You look at more than just recorded temperatures when talking about climate, you should look at all parts of nature and there are warning bells going off.

8. Don't blame the entire 6th District!
We have done a sufficient job of educating people in Washington County that Bachmann lost the county in the 2008 election. In her last two elections, she was beat like a drum in her hometown of Stillwater, and even in her own precinct (imagine that, her own neighbors don't like her). So please don't tar the whole district with the Bachmann Ugly Brush.

11. Fair enough.
But there are a lot of crazies somewhere in the 6th.

I'm ashamed that there are even three Minnesotans who would vote for this dangerous, crazy, evil bitch.

(As I've said elsewhere: He/She, Bastard/Bitch -- that's just how the language works.)

6. And at the Huffington Post

http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2009/03/23/michele-bachmann-i-want-p_n_178156.html

Asked about the White House-backed cap-and-trade proposal to reduce carbon emissions, Bachmann told WWTC 1280 AM, "I want people in Minnesota armed and dangerous on this issue of the energy tax because we need to fight back. Thomas Jefferson told us 'having a revolution every now and then is a good thing,' and the people -- we the people -- are going to have to fight back hard if we're not going to lose our country. And I think this has the potential of changing the dynamic of freedom forever in the United States."

Bachmann also told her constituents she was "a foreign correspondent on enemy lines," sending Minnesotans warnings through her blog, Facebook, Twitter, and Myspace. "I try to let everyone back here in Minnesota know exactly the nefarious activities that are taking place in Washington."
The comments have been picked up by local blogs Smart Politics and Dump Bachmann.

Bachmann has encouraged resistance against President Obama before, saying that the Republican party needs "to do everything we can to thwart at every turn to make sure that they aren't able to, for all time, secure a power base that for all time can never be defeated."

Seriously, isn't she getting awfully close to the point where the Secret Service should be taking a long, hard look at her?

9. Staff says Bachmann was just kidding
http://www.startribune.com/politics/state/41719957.html?elr=KArksLckD8EQDUoaEyqyP4O%20%3Cimg%20src=

According to a spokesman in her office, the Minnesota Republican was speaking metaphorically this weekend when she said in a radio interview that she wants "people in Minnesota armed and dangerous on this issue of the energy tax because we need to fight back."

Translation: Don't believe anything my bizarre boss says.
